Emergency Nurse by day (and night), fitness enthusiast on the daily.
My day job is that of an Emergency Nurse, but my every other waking moment is spent in the health and fitness world. It was during nursing school that I made the switch from organized sport to weight training. I eventually began to train for fitness competitions, which lead me to earning my IDFA Pro Card. After 5 years of fitness competitions I could sense that my goals were changing and I was unsure of my whether I would continue to compete. Sometimes life decides for you and after a cancer diagnosis in 2016 I bid farewell to fitness competitions.
This prompted the year of "yes". I bought myself a pair of running shoes, signed up for various runs and obstacle course races and started taking Crossfit classes with my husband. I take my weight training seriously and love seeing my lifts improve and strength increase. I continue to say "yes" to anything that comes my way.
I've devoted my time to helping others realize their potential. I enjoy helping others attain their goals and uncover new talents and abilities. I know how to make healthy eating and working out a part of an everyday routine. It is the best gift to be part of a client's journey.
Apart from work and the gym, I enjoy sharing a glass of wine with friends, travelling with my husband, and being outdoors with my dog Murphy. I've learned how to balance the things I love with my own personal goals. I can show you how to do this - no matter how hectic your schedule.
