Back At 'er

I'm baaccckk....

In the past, I've used my blog posts to be fairly open with all of you about various topics in my life (some were fluffy and others were down right hard to write). I've been a bit more mum on the topic of closing my personal training business because I wasn't really sure how to gather my thoughts into a readable post. I could write plenty about my decision to end my business and perhaps one day I will, but for right now it just doesn't feel necessary. I have other things going on in my life and I would rather share those stories with you. I might reflect on this more one day, but for the time being let's make sure we're all on the same page. Here is the post that I'd shared a couple of months back about no longer personal training:

OH, HEY! (waving person) Long time no see!
So, I’ll keep this short and sweet: it’s been a few months in the making, but as some of you are already aware I am no longer personal training. I have decided to focus more on my nursing career. Changes in Winnipeg’s ERs and changes in my own life have lead me to this decision. If you’re looking for a personal trainer go and check out @rxfitnessandnutrition. This guy is passionate and knowledgeable. Recommend 100%!
I don’t know what the future holds for this Instagram page, but for friends/family/co-workers/”nosey parkers” you can find me at @grenier_dani. It’ll be just my life, which means a few (lifting person) pics might sneak in there.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY CLIENTS. You made this a difficult decision! <3 it was a joy to train you all.

For the time being, I'll simply give you a little update on where things are at for me. I still work at Concordia ER and I now also work for a nursing travel agency in B.C. I am casual at Concordia, which is what allows me the flexibility in my schedule. I still eat and train the same as I have been, although I perhaps train a little less often (down to 4-5 x/week from 5-6 x/week).

I suppose I've been missing writing and have felt a pull to get back into it. I've been writing a bit in my 'absence' and it has been a return to something I very much enjoy. I opt to either blog or journal depending on the topic that I'm writing about. Blogging has a far more creative aspect to it compared to a simple journal entry, which is what has brought be back to writing/sharing these posts. I hope to share with you some of my travel nursing adventures, life stories, healthy eats and workouts.

Until next time!
